Car Rental at Chios Airport

Car rental at Chios Airport means you do not have to waste time looking for a car after your arrival. You can choose a vehicle from a suitable class — a compact option for exploring the island independently or a more spacious model for a family or group. When booking, you can also choose the protection level that suits you, including Super Cover with no excess.

All options include unlimited mileage, and you pay most of the rental cost when you pick up the car. The airport operates a Meet & Greet service: after leaving the arrivals hall, a representative will meet you and complete the rental formalities. If your plans change, you can cancel your booking free of charge up to 48 hours before the rental starts.

No 100% prepayment. To book a car at Chios Airport, you only need to pay 7–10% of the total rental cost. The remaining amount is paid when you pick up the car — full payment in advance is not required.

If your plans change, the prepayment is refunded when you cancel at least 48 hours before the rental starts. With a later cancellation, you risk only the prepayment amount, not the full rental cost.

When booking a car at Chios Airport, you choose the protection level yourself — from basic to extended, including Super Protect with no excess. The package price and deposit amount depend on the protection level you choose, while Super Protect comes with the lowest deposit.

When booking online, the protection cost is up to 15% lower than when arranging extended cover directly at the office. So, if you want extended protection, it is more cost-effective to add it when booking online. Rentaholiday does not sell third-party insurance — the selected protection package is provided directly by the car rental company and arranged together with the car rental.

After landing at Chios Airport, you will not need to look for a car rental office. Pick-up is arranged through a Meet & Greet service: collect your luggage and leave the arrivals hall — a representative will be waiting for you with a sign showing your name.

Late-night and night-time flights are also accommodated. You can pick up or return the car even at night, so make sure to provide the exact pick-up and return time when booking. The meeting point and further instructions will be provided in your booking confirmation.
